The Cop

They say, "A Badge and a Gun, what a life!"
They don't care he has children and a wife.
His job has always been to protect and serve.
The pay is far less than he deserves.
He patrols the streets 8 hours a day.
His back-up is still 10 minutes away.
He handles his calls and makes arrests.
24-hours a day, he does his best.
Kids look up to him, criminals look down.
He risks his life to protect your town.
He’s the nicest man that you’ve ever met.
Some people thank him, but many forget.
“Why does he d… Continue

Have you ever had an inmate say something that just left you shaking your head?? If so.. this one is for you...

The other day I was working with inmate workers in the kitchen........ I gave an order for the workers to stay in the dining hall until they were finished eating..... the min. the order left my mouth.... an inmate pipes up and states

" Jensen, I don't hear anything you are saying. I'm illiterate."

I explained to the inmate that by stating this it meant that she can't read any order I write down.

The inmate then opened her mouth and said " Oh. well then I am mute."

I explained to her that by… Continue

A PART OF AMERICA DIED TODAY

Somebody killed a Correctional Officer today,
And a part of America died.

A piece of our Country he swore to protect,
Will be buried with him at his side.

The inmate who killed him will stand up in court,
With counsel demanding his rights.

While a young widowed mother must work for her kids,
And spend many long, lonely nights.

The beat that he walked was a battlefield too,
Just as if he'd gone off to war.

Though the flag of our nation won't fly at half mast,
To his name they will add a gold… Continue

WHEN GOD MADE CORRECTION OFFICERS

WHEN GOD MADE CORRECTION OFFICERS

When the Lord was creating CORRECTION OFFICERS, he was into his sixth day of overtime when an angel appeared and said, "You're doing a lot of fiddling around on this one".

And the Lord said, "Have you read the specs on this order?"

A CORRECTION OFFICER must always bear in mind that rehabilitation is based on self-respect. In the event of rebellious actions or disparaging remarks towards them by inmates they must always maintain a quite firm dem… Continue

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A COP IF....... ALSO 60 things to never say to a correctional officer... I wish these could be actual rules LOL

You know you're a cop if ..

> >> You have ever restrained someone and it was not a sexual experience.

> >> You believe that 50% of people are a waste of good air.

> >> Your idea of a good time is a gun run or a car chase.

> >> You conduct a criminal record check on anyone who seems friendly
towards you.

> >> Discussing dismemberment over a meal seems perfectly normal to you.

ok some more FUNNY stuff........... TOP TEN LISTS FOR COPS

TOP TEN SIGNS YOUR PARTNER NEEDS A VACATION:

1) He keeps handcuffing himself by accident.

2) He is starting to develop a crush on one of the transvestite hookers he arrested.

3) He wants to transfer to a K-9 unit because he thinks he'd look good in a collar.

4) He talks to himself. Half of him is the "good cop", and the other half is the "bad cop."

5) He wants you to call him "Judge Dredd", and he insists that all suspects should be executed right there on the spot.
